The kids all loved the sand and the water. Levi crawled right in, not a bit scared. The water was warm--the warmest ocean water I ever remember swimming in. We even went on a banana boat ride (all of us) and rented jet-ski's (Darin and Brian).

Rocky Point Getaway
Even though school started last week and summer is officially over, we were able to sneak in one last little vacation and hit the beach like the kids had been asking to do all summer. Our good friends invited us to join them for a weekend in Rocky Point, and we are so glad we did! We had a great time. Travelling with another family was so much fun. The kids had friends to play with, and then after the kids went to bed at night, the adults stayed up and played Rook and talked and laughed a lot!We stayed in a really nice place. This is the view out our back door...a nice big patio, grass, a three-section pool, and then the beach right in our backyard.

When I read the part about parents staying up and playing Rook, it brought back memories of doing the same thing years ago. I love the pictures of all the kids, and the water looks like I would like to dive right into the computer.
that Nicole is really nanmc. I had better get that changed quick like.
How fun! Looks like a super great trip. And what an amazing place you got to stay in right by the beach. I want to go next time!
Wow! I'm glad you had a great time. Rocky Point sure has changed - not the kind of vacations Darin had when he was Wyatt's age!
bieI'm so jealous! Wait, you did say Rocky Point, didn't you? Then I'm not so jealous. The only time I've ever been there, I was stung by a stingray & ended up in a Mexican Red Cross hut, being tended by a whole crew of helpful people that didn't speak a word of English & my dad who didn't speak very good Spanish. Terrifying, really! I'm glad your trip was better than mine!
Oh wow! That is WAY cool! How far is Rocky Point from Tucson?
It looks so fun! And I can see from the pics that Scuba Steve was there too. (Or Scuba Wyatt).
What a fun vacation! I love the beach!
How fun! Your place did look beautiful. Did Darin ever find his favorite "flour tortilla shop"?
Looks like fun!
That looks like so much fun!
